Hello everyone

I just bought a nicely restored 1970 Chevy Nova. I bought all the reproduction door jamb decals but I dont know where they should be placed on the driver's door. I bought the following:

GM Mark of Excellence blue square metal decal
Tire Pressure Decal
VIN manufacturer's decal ( blue one )

My question is, where do they go on the door? Is there a specific location for each? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On my 72, the tire pressure decal is stuck inside the glove box as you lower the lid you can see it.

No GM mark of excellence on your car. That was discontinued in 1968.

The tire pressure decal goes at the top of the door jam while the blue VIN label with coverlay goes between the raised ribs. As the previous poster states, the foil GM label is N/A for a '70....

No GM mark of excellence on your car. That was discontinued in 1968.

In 1967 the Mark Of Excellence decals were turquoise; for '68-'69 they were blue. It may have depended on the car line or factory, as not all '69s had them from what I gather. Perhaps dealers were putting them on '69s. I certainly remember them on some '69s way back when they were late model everyday cars, like around 1971.

Who or where do they repop the blue VIN decal?
