Without taking off the headliner, I am thinking the dome light wiring is directed down the front drivers window piller?

Right before I sent my car to the body shop I attached a piece of electric fence wire to it and slide the wiring out from under the drivers side dash leaving the fence wire in it's place so when I replace the dome wiring all that would be required would be to connect the new/old wiring to the fence wire and pull it back through.
