My 68 nova cranked a few days ago till the battery died.I pulled the battery to put it on charge and now the car won't do anything .its completely dead when you turn the key on.the posi cable has one wire hanging from it that I can't figure out where it goes.I don't see a place on the starter where it would've went.any ideas ?

Picture would help, but sounds like core support junction block.

The positive cable has a wire to a junction box behind the battery. This wire then goes in front of the radiator to the horn relay.

Power to the dash comes from the horn relay.

Can you go into more detail on the junction box also my car is a 68 4spd
