the dash pad clips and bolts to the metal dash frame and the instrument cluster screws to the dash pad.

Hey Guys.....
When you install the drivers side of the dash pad does the pad go "over" the guage cluster panel OR does it go between the bottom side of the metal dash and the top of the guage cluster assembly?
YES we are using an aftermarket guage cluster panel and I remember that the screw u-nuts that were there were not normal ones since they had a welded on square washer of sorts.
Quick replies would be appreciated.
