I know Phillip did some pretty extensive work to get a 120 mph speedo and tach in his gauge cluster. I just want to add a 3 3/8" tach to the blank slot/clock slot on the right hand side. Can anyone (Phillip?) provide me with what all is involved with performing this swap? Are there any idiot lights that need addressed when changing that? Will it screw up the printed circuit? Other than the wires for the tach, do I need to tear apart the harness for any other reason?

as far as i can tell nd I have done a few dash mods....

if you are putting in an aftermarket tach 3 3/8ths diameter... remove the cluster and cut out the blank clock area and you can fit in the tach... 2 power leads and a ground and then green wire to the distributor, done!

I forget the name but there is a company that makes aftermarket oe copy gauges and such... but its pricey. Either way you go you have to wire in a ground, a positive lead, a keyed power and a line to the dizzy.

its way less complicated than you think. Trust me.
