Looking for someone who has used the CSR kevlar trans sheild for a powerglide in a 1st gen nova. What I want to know is will it clear the trans tunnel in the car when using the factory motor mounts and trans crossmember. If anyone has any input I would greatly appriciate it. KW

If you're talking about the stock trans tunnel and firewall transition, I don't think so, or you may have to pound some indentations in the sheetmetal to fit. While it does form around the case, it is a bit bulky with a couple of bulges (locate the strap, linkage, etc.) and the reinforced area around the flange where it bolts to the trans bell. A blanket might be better as far as less floor modification.

I have one in mine it is work but it will fit. You have to use long extensions to get to the bell housing bolts. And a custom dip stick. I think I have some pics.
