I just adjusted my rockers after bolting down the heads on my bbc, but for some odd reason I have the valve spring (dual) on the intake of cyl
#4 creaking as soon as it starts to lift on the lobe. It is the only one that creaks.

What would cause this?

can you hear it while running or turning engine over by hand?


It might be a rocker arm also???

I am just putting the motor back together after having the heads pressure checked and new head gaskets put on.

I will check the rocker stud, I just put them in yesterday
