what is the length of the connecting rods on a 307?

Well, I could be mistaken--but I don't think so. All first gen small blocks except the 400, have 5.7" rods. 262,265,267,302,305,307,327,350--seems I forgot one but.......I'm old!

That's right. All small blocks used a 5.7" rod except the 400 which was a 5.565". Ditch that at any and all case!
