Does anyone have a diagram or pic of the clutch fork return spring and rod set-up on a '68? I can't find where the spring attaches to, and also the rod that attaches the spring to the clutch fork doesn't want to fit without interference from the left header

Thanks,
Darrell

Darrell,
On sb cars that rod has to go to the front cross member of the subframe their is a hole drilled for that rod if it was a manual shift car from the factory. But since you have headers not stock manifolds the headers will be in the way. What I did on my last small block car is I made a bracket. It attached some were around the motor mount on the block bent down so I didn't need to use that rod just the spring. hope this helps!

Okay, thanks. I will look into fabricating a bracket also.
