Ordered a hyd master and throwout bearing kit from Modern Driveline. They said those are about a week out. Should bolt in and control the tkx.

When you drilled yours did you grind them flat so the bit would not walk?

You are correct, there are 4. Some people grind them off some drill them. I drilled mine

I just hit them with a center punch and worked my way up with drill bits. The body of the rivets is bigger than you think, they are about 7/16" if I remember correctly

I took a grinder to the head and then a punch and knocked it through. I do the same to those pesky rivets on ball joints. Saves the drilling.

I’m trying to avoid grinding since it sends crap everywhere. I think I’ll drill them and then air hammer them out.

One other odd thing is the engine is cocked over to the passenger side about 1”. I wouldn’t think this is Normal. I was looking at the motor mounts and they don’t appear to be bolted in the same positions. As if someone tilted the motor over a little. I can’t get the passenger header out until I lift the engine out.

The v8 cars have the engine shifted to the passenger side by 3/4" or so. This was done for gear box clearance

What are opinions on using the downflow radiator I have. It’s a very nice radiator but is not a Crossflow nor made for the LS. I’m thinking it should have enough cooling ability but I’m not sure. It’s made by Ron Davis.

Don't know if this is allowed but would you be willing to sell and ship the steering arms,spindles,and brake setup? Looking to replace my 4 lug setup on my 63.

I am selling the whole front end together. With all the work I’m doing I want to avoid any more work with the existing front end. Not sure where you are located.
