I have a 1966 Chevy II SS L79. I am the original owner. The car was restored and completed in 2005. The restorer put a brown distributor cap on my K66 TI. I am thinking the original cap was black. Does anyone know the correct color for my L79 TI?

It's my understanding that only cars with factory transistorized ignition had brown caps.
