I have been reading on line for 2 years now and have a question on
the suspension. Changing from 4-lug to 5-lug, read about not tightening
untill car is on ground, is this for any suspension part including spindles
and steering arms. Sorry for a lame question, but I am a 57 year old newbie.
I have a 63 and my son just bought a 62.

I think that is mainly for bushings so they are in a normal position before the final tightening. Any metal to metal areas are better tightened as you assemble it. That is just my opinion, someone else may feel differently.
