My old Carter mechanical M6900 fuel pump up and quit on me..I've not been able to find another one anywhere. Does anybody know if they quit making them or possibly changed part nos.?
Any suggestions for a new Carter part number or a comparable replacement by another mfg. would be very much appreciated...Thanks...

looks like its been discontinued POPS..... I checked on the carter website... no reference to it anywhere, or at jegs....

Carter website does list rebuild kits for the pumps.... just a thought...

the M6900 looks to have been replaced with a Bling pump for 99.00.. apears the be the M6900 with a polish!:D

What a shame. My brother has that pump on his 86 Chevy C-10. A friend of mine had it on his 67 Camaro when he bought it in 86. He went to an electric fuel pump around 96 and I put the pump on the 86 C-10 before selling it to my brother. That pump still kicks *** and it's been around for "at least" 23 years (the pump was on the Camaro when my buddy bought it).
