can a blower type carb be used in a non blower application .the reason i ask is i would like to go a blower but i cant due it all at once and i need a new carb now

i dont think it would run very good. they are completly set up differant as far as metering and airbleeds. IMO not a good idea.

A blower carb will be lean on a none-blower application.
Could lead to engine damage.

You could purchase the regular carb, when you purchase the blower setup send the carb off for correction.
