I have a 1968 ChevyII, converted to a 87' 350 with the original powerglide 250 trans. My problem is the Engine runs beautifully when in park/neutral, even in drive it's great until I need power out of it. If I put my foot down it will practically stall until I let up on the pedal, I was cruising up a relatively steep hill and it almost died as well. It should be noted that I do not have a kickdown connected currently, could that solely be the problem. My thoughts were something possibly with the fuel pump? Just looking for some advice and insight. Thank you

Could be pluged fuel filter, weak fuel pump, perforated fuel line (sucking air instead of fuel), bad excelerator pump or (if using one) bad Edelbroke carb.

Edelbroke, love it

But I hope that is not it cause its pretty much brand new, I have a friend with a high end fuel pump going to give that a try first and cross my fingers.
Thanks though also the fuel line is original, I will give that a good once over.
