OK car just got painted with a single stage paint. It has no clear coat so what do I do as far as polishing and or waxing car has a shine but some spots look like they were not buffed out all the way. Will waxing the car really well take care of it? Or should I polish it first?
Single stage cars are super easy to buff, but you are actually removing some of the color, which is why it will stain your pads. Although, since it was just painted, I have to agree with ART in that you should have the shop finish the job.
Yep, agreed...get the job you paid for! Insist on it!
Do NOT wax a freshly painted car, wait 90 days minimum... you can use POLISH as much as you want forever... wax isnt needed on garage kept cars and polish will make that car a tiny bit slicker each time you do it
i am sharing my experience on using car wax. i always wash my car first and then apply wax on it for better quality shining. and prevent car from UVR and many things. i found this yourautomaster.com useful for selecting best car wax like hybrid wax sealant or spray.
