The 62 I bought has a very nice front clip(inner fenders). Comparing it to the 65 , the hood hinge front bolt holes on the 62 are closer together than on the 65.
Can I just drill and use spacers?
The 65 front clip seems to have a raised area for the front hood hing bolt holes.
Thanks

The mountings for the grill will be different but I suspect it could all be worked out. It will bolt up to the cowl with no problem.

Thanks for the replies guys:yes:
I would rather use the hinges off of my 65. The 62 hinges are worn bad and leave a lot to be desired. I assume the 62 and 65 hinges are the same spacing to bolt on the hood? I will dig one of my 65 hinges and compare
I will also have to drill the 62 hood for the 65 hood bar I guess.
I already had another clip to go on the car but the drivers side inner fender was warped during sand blasting:mad:

As far as the suspension goes I have the CPP lower kit and most of the Church Boys conversion.

Anyone know if the windshield from a 62 four door will work in a 65 two door post?
I can measure I guess but thought I would ask:D.
