I am looking for a picture of the c pillar on a post car (65 two door would be great) where the headliner meets the package tray area.

Yes. Sail panel where it meets the package tray area.
From what I can tell it some how ticks on to teeth of a small metal panel but not glued there. I am wondering how it is finished off there. Perhaps with wi space or something

Here's a couple pics. I had upholstery shop install my headliner, so I'm not sure how they did it. The reflections of light made it hard to get good pics, the vinyl also shines and looks like wrinkles. Hope this helps.

And one additional thought for you. My upholstery guy recommended using windlace for the rear window trim vs. the multi-piece trim kit that costs like $65. It's one piece this way, doesn't get brittle like the thin plastic, and matches up great with the window rubber seal, in my opinion. Cost like $10 worth of windlace. You can see it in the pics too. Just fyi....

I think that is for a coupe. I have a two door post.
