Bumper question

Rears are the same.

I have 2 rear bumber guards that will not fit a repop bumper, just so you know.

as stated by others 62-65 all have the same rear bumper :yes: If you need an original bumper I have one for sale :yes:

It's strange that the guards won't fit the repro bumper. Is the repro bumper different in some way.

My bumpers are in fairly good shape and I'm considering having them re-chromed if I can find a Georgia re-plating company that won't charge a king's ransom for doing them. I wanted to be on the look out for anything that might be better from an older model if they were interchangeable and save some $$$.

The guard's contour cut will not fit the contour of the repop bumper, at least on the bumper I have.

Some of the 1st and 2nd gen repop bumper contours do not match the originals. Some are OK, some are not.
