Added this to my parts cache today...

Viking double-adjustables with 550# springs for the front, double adjustables for the rear...
Started cleaning the stock UCA/LCAs I picked up from my buddy so I can box them in for added rigidity on the lowers, uppers should be fine, just gonna grind the edges all smooth and radius some of the sharp corners... My blast cabinet is AWESOME!!! I WANNA BLAST EVERYTHING!!! I gotta clean up some messy nut welds for limiters they had on 'em but I'll fill the hole, smooth it and call it good on the UCAs. Shoulda seen these suckers before I cleaned 'em...

I'll hit 'em again after grinding and smoothing for a satin finish on the metal for primer and enamel adhesion.

What are you planning for spindles? I haven't road tested them, but tall upper ball joints are supposed to be good. I went .5" taller upper, stock height lower, both from ProForged.
Yeah, sticking with stock spindles for the moment with the taller uppers like you ( I just got some 4-piston brakes for it with some slotted/drilled rotors so that'll be my roll for some time, mid-90's F-body disks out back on the 9" I'm putting in from @xten57 :) . Not going to buy tubular UCA/LCAs (if at all) until I figure out exactly how it rides stock then, after some canyon carving, I'll be better able to assess my adjustability needs for the uppers... May go UCA Guildstrand Mod, may go adjustable... Jury's still out.

What wheel size are you going with? Did you do poly or rubber bushings?
Poly, not sure on final wheel size yet. I have 15, 17, 18s siting around, I haven't decided just yet.

550 springs! Going to be stiff no? I can't remember, are you building this to turn too or just go straight?
Gonna be an all-around car. I want something that can take the canyon and still kick some a$$ in a straight line. I have a sway bar link setup I'm putting together with some quick pins so I can just yank them out to disconnect the end links for weight distribution if I get into it with someone who wants to lose... :p Lots of kids with mustangs, challengers and camaros around here who think they're fast... in the canyons and in the straight. I'll at least give 'em a run for their $$$ at both

So, got the passenger corner all dialed in and welded up so I can start fitting the taillight section and inner supports.

Still needs a touch more grinding for finesse...

Then, new lower corner of the quarter panel at the taillight surround... started with this old piece of the old quarter so all steel is still original METHTRAP NOVA:

Then the fit up:

Couple nasty tacks later...

(still needs a bit more sanding and filing for the correct radius but that hides beneath the taillight trim so not terribly concerned. This isn't rocket surgery...

Here's what it used to look like... rusted thin and totally damaged beyond repair, filled with Bondo and brazing...

I vote to fix the mechanicals, put the Centerlines on, Ditch everything in the interior and start over there.
that's one of my many considerations... However at this point, moving on to an all-around street beast that does everything fairly well and still has A/C, hauls a$$, stops on a dime and handles like a slot car... to the best of my personal mechanical abilities... Of course that's my limiting factor... And $ :p

I'm also with you on the street beast, hauling azz, stopping, and bad street manners 😉. Now about the handling like a slot car thing... not so much😲.
yeah, I have grown quite fond of going fast in both a straight line and around corners lately... I used to race karts and motorcycles (250cc class GP stuff all 2-strokes...) and really missed being able to really carve things up. Straight line fast is awesome but when you see headlights vanish in the rear view, that's when you know you've built something fast!! :p Or they ran out of motivation to chase.. hahaha

Just the feeling of power being put back in your seat... makes it a lot more fun with a stick car.😆😆
And the rib-cracking downshift/brake in the harness... :p
