hey guys, I'm new here. I have a 73 Nova coupe that was my great grandma's that my dad and I have been working on. for years it sat at my grandma's farm (different grandma lol) and she has about a hundred cats. I wish I was exaggerating, I believe that some cats lived in it and I wanna replace the seats in it because of this. the inside of the car used to smell really bad and gave a friend of mine an allergic reaction, my dad and I took out the seats and sprayed them down with pet odor remover, but there's still stains and rips all over them. Was wondering if Buick LeSabre seats would work? I really like the way they feel, my friend has a LeSabre. If not what would you guys recommend? thanks

Nova Seats

I would keep looking for original seats. I have a '65 that needs a front bench and I've been looking for 6 months. All the ones I find are more than 500 miles from me.

I've seen a couple of parts cars on "Craig's" that might have what your looking for. Scott

For sure this is the best way to go. Any auto upholstery shop can do it for you. Probably a few hundred bucks depending on the material covering you choose. Or you can do it yourself with something like this

i'd say strip the covers an foam off the old seats an hit it with a power washer to get them totally clean. then hit them with some good primer an spray. there is nothing like the fit of the original seat. an after they are finished an installed you can step back an say, yaa thats right.
