I read through the 9" sticky, but I was curious if anybody could verify or deny with 100% accuracy whether or not the '66 - '77 Ford Bronco 9" is a direct swap into a 1st gen Chevy II? I have access to these rear ends and would like to swap one in place of my currect 8.2 if possible. I appreciate any info anybody has to offer!

From what I remember...yes, it's basically a bolt-in. The problem is that although it's a 9", it's not one of the stronger ones, so it's not great for high HP swaps. (This is from memory, I have NOT done this...so don't just take my word for it.)

If it's a street car with a mild engine and street tires, and you end up with a better gear ratio, go for it. If you're looking to go racing with a big engine and sticky tires...save up for some beefier stuff.
