---Block side clutch pivot ball stud that is:devil:
I am trying to figure out if this is because of the 12" clutch I am running.

I bought the part new form thE Bay and It failed very soon after being put in service. The auction claimed the part as being the best quality replacement available, but I wonder on the validity of that statement. :bored:
Its not unheard of for people to be running racing clutches with stock linkage and no breakage, right? Surely those have greater force than a stock 12" disk.

Where should I buy my next replacement?... or should I take a grade 8 bolt chuck it in a power drill and run that on a grinder until the head is the right shape?
I am very distraught now... I feel I have lost something close to me:D

like the human body.. many parts can be replaced these days ... but anything less than the OEM part is substandard.....

I would look for a OEM clutch ball.... they cant be that hard to find and not that expensive...

My son has a McLeod 12" clutch in his 468 67 chevelle... it's been there for 20 plus years.... all stock linkage... NO PROBLEM
