I am fixing to cut out my rusted floor pan in my 62 hardtop . I will be taking out the whole section between the front of the rear seat to the toeboard , including the center tunnel. I will be installing the driver and passenger side full length pans with partial toeboard and center tunnel . The question is , do I have to cross brace the car between the rockers ?

Thanks ,

Tony

the A pillars, roof, rockers and the sail panels should keep the car square enough... just make sure it's supported level/equal on stands and not on a twist...

Great . It still has the rearend under it without shocks and the front is still on it. What do I need to look out for with this scenario ?

Thanks, Flyer
