I just got my A/C( Vintage Air)hooked up and charged it seems to be working good.I did have to install a Idle Adjustment Solenoid so it would not die(LOW IDLE) when the A/C was on.The problem i am having now is when you turn the A/C unit on the solenoid works fine, but if you bump the RPMs up at the carb the solenoid plunger retracts and the A/C fuse(at Fuse Panel) blows.

solenoid might be pulling too much power for the circuit.

How big a fuse are you talking about? If it's small ( 5-10 ), then try stepping up a couple amps, see if it fixes the problem.

It is a 20Amp fuse.I believe i have found the solenoid problem. The heater fuse at the fuse panel is getting extremely hot.Possibly bad ground or bad heater fan switch. I talked to Tech(John) at Vintage Air and he was a great help with hopefully solving my problem. He was also very patient.
I will try his suggestions out next week and keep you posted. Thanks Mark
