If you are asking if a big scoop that normally sits on top of a blower would work there is usually something that will work or made to work, but I guess my question would be why? Why cut a hole in a hood and stick something out of it that is not and trying to make something that isn't?

Couldn't you just get a supercharged EFI system? You could have the best of both worlds.

Yep. The carb cover could be made to fit anything from a lawnmower to D9 dozer. It may look better on an engine with one of those custom made covers that hide the entire intake and carb (and sometimes the valve covers).
