A couple more below. The black is on the lower sill and wraps down under the rocker trim. The factory painted the entire rocker section under the door, so the black comes out beyond the moulding under the car. Looks a little strange when the car is on a lift, but can't be seen at ground level. I just painted the black about an inch below the rocker trim so that from under the car the entire length of the rocker is body color.
As far as I can determine, the only Nova Super Sports in 1966 that didn't get the black rocker sills were Ebony Black and Danube Blue. I've seen Aztec Bronze with black sills, but don't know about Madeira Maroon cars. Anybody know?
