Yup put one on my 65 easy just follow the instructions! may want to put some never seize on the screws incase you have to remove it down the line.

Here are some pictures of the install and the finished product.

It took a little longer to do than I anticipated: I cut the filler pipe a number of times to get the right fitment and it didn’t help that the inside of the fender was undercoated!

Hints for others who want to do this: run a tap through the mounting screw holes before trying to piece everything together, my screws didn’t want to start properly and did perfectly after chasing the threads. Removing the rear wheel frees up a lot more room to work in.

I think this cap looks great and although pricey I would recommend this product to anyone! I feel safer having a locking gas cap now!
