Best fit HEI wires ramhorns "stock" 283

Anyone know of any? I really don't want to have to assemble them myself. The crimps never come out nice. The motor is stock besides the HEI distributor. The dist has male terminals. This is a first gen. People seem to recommend MSD alot but it seems like overkill considering its a street cruiser not a track monster. Is there a slightly less expensive option?

Hi Tom,

For a pre-made set of wires, get some meant for a 75-79 or so Corvette. I believe the Vettes were still using the ram's horn manifolds along with HEI in those years.

As far as brand goes, I've always had good luck with both AC Delco and Standard Motor Products plug wire sets.
Msd's come with the crimper.nothing better than perfect fitting wires!

Someone else recommended this to me. So I may go this route. But alot of people have recommended MSD's so I'm sorta undecided. Too bad they're so pricey! The points wires were like 10 bucks a set.
I ended up just going for the universal MSD's I found them for 40 bucks shipped on amazon.
