I'm installed a new core support with a larger opening for a big block radiator.it also has the lower bracing to install a small block radiator as well. I happen to come across a,which I believe to be a BBC radiator with the brackets. The radiator measures 19 x23. The radiator will bolt to the core support instead of resting in the lower bacillus. My question is should there be a gap between the radiator and the core support ? When the radiator is installed, there approx. a 1" gap between the radiator and the core support. Is the gap correct or do I have the wrong radiator ? See attached pic
