Hi All,
I have a few questions. I am new to the big block world and I just picked up a 454 HO motor. But it is missing all of its water fittings, and accessories and drives.
I was trying to figure out what to do for the bypass hose and fittings. I know they are 3/4" npt fittings, but what hose size do I need 5/8" or 3/4"? Also for the LWP I'm guessing it is just a straight hose that is bent a little to go between the fittings. Right?
OH and speaking of hose fittings, are the heater hoses 5/8" for both?
Also, I got a flywheel from a 1991 truck. But I just realized it may be for a 12" clutch. Does anyone know the bolt pattern for a 12" truck clutch vs an 11" passenger car clutch? I measured my flywheel and it measures 12.5" center to center for the bolt holes. And there are 6 bolt holes, each flanked by two holes.
Thanks guys!
