I have converted my AT to a 4 speed and would like to have an operational backup light. I understand there is a switch located on the steering column and that it is a little different between AT and manual. What all is involved to make the light work?

What you need is the tranny mounted switch, mounting bracket and actuating rod. The wiring harness is also available. C2O sells them Part # 92005, #20014 & #20014

I put the C2O back up lamp parts on my 4-speed a few months ago.Wires into the factory harness and the parts fit fine.Only problem you need to solve before you get under the car is the hole in the reverse lever for the back up switch link to attach to.You won't drill it.

I bolted another smaller lever onto to the reverse lever to operate the link.

Looking at those part numbers from C2O, it doesn't list any for the 3rd generation. Are these parts the same?
