just installed the floor shifter from shiftworks I got the neutral saftey hooked up the two remaining wires I assume are for the back up lights. Where would I tap into the back up lights. The car had a powerglide shifteron the floor that i swapped out for a t350 thanksfor your help.

You need to start looking for the black/pink and black/green wires under the dash coming out through the firewall leading back to the tranny. They should be with the thick purple wires leading to the original SS safety switch. Splice into them for your backups. On my 63SS, that is how it was layed out. I used the same shifter. Hope that gives you an idea how to proceed.
