Is there a difference in the back seats between a 73 and a 72

I bought a rear seat out of a 73 nova from a swap meet and purchased a seat cover for my 72 from PUI. When I went to recover the seat I found the seat is slightly different than the cover. Could it have been a 4 door car the back seat came out of or is the rear seat in the 73 different than in72

Yes and Yes. I think the 4 dr seat is longer and the shape of the 73 seat is different
