Riddle me this….
Were back seat arm rests available/ standard / optional on Chevy IIs / Super Sport and other 1967 models !? And did they have ashtrays !? Removed both along with original interior in early 2000s and just found in box the other day!
Thanks, any/all input appreciated!

Front and rear armrests were standard equipment on all 1967 Chevy IIs except Chevy II 100 series, which didn't come standard with rears. Rear armrests
had ashtrays.

Bob,

Thank you thank you! They are not bad condition, might just reinstall them as is, as I recall repops were not available.

chevy2only has them for $75, but surely all the other typical parts houses probably have them (Classic Industries, etc.).

Adam from Northwest Nova (member here) probably has them, too, if you are on the west coast.

The 1965 - 67 coupe rears are the expensive ones to replace everything as they have a real limited application. The ash tray is unique to them a well. The pads have been on and off back order for the last few years which does not help.

I always recommend recovering your original pads if the foam is still holding and the frame is not badly rusted. Better end result and usually not terribly expensive.

The price on the ash trays went up considerably a year or two ago, so definitely worth trying to save originals.
