the sub frame connectors are bolt in, which is fine but once they're bolted in you should have them welded in for the additional strength.

i have one of the billet grilles installed... it's fine too...

ok thank you for the quick response. i will see if i can find anyone who can weld them in after i bolt them on. and how long have you had your grill? and is there better ones?

to my knowledge there is only one billet grille company for our ChevyII's, so no better or worse ones that i've heard of... lots of distributors (like the link you posted) but they're made by Carriage works...

i've had mine about 10yrs. mine is polished but i had it painted body color. it's seen a few miles and has some rock chips in the paint but that's the paint, not the grille. it's holding up just fine...


contact member "Nightshade" Jonesy, he can hook you up with a painted, brushed or polished billet grille...
