I installed the 1 1/2'' drop coil springs from ccp that are realy 2'' drop springs on my 67 and they are realy loose when the car isn't on the ground. Has anyone run into this and is there a fix or should i just send them back? Thanks for the info.

I have them. This is normal. The spring is quite a bit shorter than the stock spring. Shouldn't be a problem under normal conditions, but if you are concerned you could fashion a limiting strap.

ya, i dont know if i'm going to have problems with them, it's not like my car has enough power to get the front tires off the ground but i just dont want them to fall out if i hit a big bump. The shocks should stop them from falling out but it will be hell trying to get them back into possition on the side of the road.

I don't have very many miles on my springs (actually you could measure it in feet), but so far so good as I've been shaking the bugs out. They have not moved going over curbs & speed bumps.
