I've been thinking about making my own door panels and can't find any thick paper board like the factory or aftermarket places use. It looks to be about 1/8" thick with a plastic sprayed on layer for some water resistance. You need to be able to stitch through it for upholstery patterns as well so it can't be hard like Masonite.

Has anyone found such material for door panels?

I am going to use dum dum caulking to seal the door holes with .006" thick clear visqueen sheet to keep the water out. I will also add a layer of "Peel and Seal" to help keep out road noise and help the doors sound more solid when I shut them.

Thanks for your help.
