Does any one know of a dealer anywhere that might have one of the dakota digital RTX gauges in stock for the 66-67? Most places are saying a 20 week lead time.

That’s a long lead time, another option. Unless you are 100% sold on Dakota. I installed this one, had it in a week.

Are there certain features that one may have over the other?

I don’t think one is as fancy. #’s and everything are not digital. It’s fully adjustable for tach, fuel gauge, speedo etc all electronic gauges so no running oil press or speedo cable inside. If you zoom in, bottom left, next to my fan over ride toggle switch, there a little black push button, that is the programer button.

The one thing i was surprised is the gauges don’t light up, it’s reflects the light through the diffuser. Not that’s a big of a deal, was just expecting needles to light up.

Comes with 7year warranty. All in all I’m happy with it. At first glance it looks factory, which is why i went with it.

Dakota digital. Only because I’m going with an ls3 and a Holley Terminator kit. It is plug and play with the ECU.

Another vote for Classic Instruments. I looked at Dakota real hard and went with Classic. As said before, I liked the fully “analog” look. Great product… quality look and feel. I installed in my ‘64 El Camino.
