I've got a 9" OE style booster on my '66 & I believe Vortec heads are taller. Anyone using them with power brakes, any fit problems?
Thanks.

Never heard or noticed that before. I think they are the same height as a standard head

Thanks for the reply. I read an article some time back where they compared stock heads, I believe they were double humps, to Vortecs. One of the pictures showed the two heads side by side & the Vortecs were about 1/2" taller. They may have been the racing BowTie Vortecs which are different than the originals. But that's why I'm asking!

I have a TBI motor with stock heads. I also have a 9" booster. I believe the heads are the same height as the vortecs. The valve cover rail is a bit taller then an earlier style head. The booster is close, but clears just fine.
