a Nova was not the first car I had but it was the second. In 65 I bought a 64 2dr sedan with factory 283 four speed. Kept it till I wrecked it in 72. I now have a 64 2dr with a 350 four speed mostly stock. I have a 69 L78 car that I bought about 25 years ago and still waiting to get around to it. The car I am working on now is a 67 wagon. It has a ZZ4 engine with the hot cam kit, shaved heads and a 750 holley. It is running a four speed behind it. It still has the ten bolt but I have a 66 12 bolt rear if I want to change it. The front has the CPP mini kit with upper control arms. The interior has been done in stock covers. I don't think that you will see another one like it. It has the factory SS door panels and seat cover but for the four doors and the wagon seats. Working on getting the SS trim for the lower outside. Buying parts now to change it over to rack. The biggest problem I have with it is getting it turned around. I had Chevelle discs on front and bought dropped spindles with new discs. It moved it out more than I was I think. I'm running old style Americans that was on a 65 with no problem but with them and the discs I can hardly get my hand between the wheel and fender. I keep reading to see which spindle/brakes/wheels I need to correct the problem. It's no fun trying to drive something you can't get turned around. This site has been fun to read and great information for some of the first time attempts on making the Nova a better car. Thanks guys!
