Rained out of our class last night. So I decided to go tonight to kill a few hours!
ALOT of OPS and drag radial cars, and spectators. The place was packed! :yes:
I got there at 6pm, I had to park WAY in the back. Left at 930.

I made three Test and Tune runs and went home with a smile, the car still in one piece, and a new best in many areas again.

1- RT.209 1.45 6.78 @ 98.59

2-RT .062 1.44 6.68 @ 102.41

3-Rt 0.019 1.41 6.60 @ 102.5 10.50 @ 123

My goal was to only run the eighth, But run 3 felt so good from the moment I hit the pedal, felt like a big wheel stand and carried them out the farthest than any other run, I just had to stay in it all way to the 1/4.

I will post pics later, IF any of them turn out.

102 to the 1/8 and 123 to the 1/4...21 out the backhalf, seems like that thing is really laying over upstairs, surprising for a nitrous car...What RPM were you turning through the lights?

Just saying, you should probably look into why it's falling over...My car covers the first half quick and lays over after 1100' or so, but still pulls 24mph out the back..

What mph are you running in the 1/8?

Great time nonetheless....but there could be a slight improvement on the top end for sure....

differant cars, differant tracks, differant whether. so many factors involved. not saying anything bad but just stating facts. i know my car pulls hard all the wat through but there is alot to consider. tire size, gear ratio, shift points, to much to list. the point is he is having FUN and IMPROVING at the same time and thats what matters. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND YOU WILL IMPROVE FOR SURE.

i know if i short shift my car i will loose 1-2 mph out the back. i normally shift my car at 6700 but if i shift at like 61-6200 ill drop mph. i dont know how high your motor will produce power to but if it can go higher. try it and see if you gain out the back. my 1/8 mile times dont differ as much so you should see more on the top as far as trap speed. again keep up the hard work and its always worth it in the end.

Timing, I was playing with the retard box pulling from (in this order with the runs) 4, 6, to 5 degrees out as the noids kicked on for the 150shot.

The first run I think I shifted at 5200-5500 , and the second 2 I know shifted at 6000.

I see you know Stan? Do you know Brent also?

Brent and Stan work right next to my parents house at the school board. Brent did all the body and paint on my camaro and with in a year or two will be doing our nova if we can gather the money.

Stan and I know each other ONLY Via the tracks, Mason Dixon and 75/80, I see him all the time and we have introduced our selves and we say hello every time we run into each other, seems to be a very nice guy..:yes:

How did you get that TMK (Matt) photo to post like that, did you purchase the photo or copy a link from his site? How much does he charge? He has taken some NICE photo's of my car while at 75/80 and he has the pics protected on his site so I can not save pic as.... I cant even get the link to work to post a pic in this thread.....

Yeah Stan is a really nice guy. Very easy going and easy to get along with.


As for the pictures on that guys site it took me a couple minutes to figure out a way around his gay protection. I am taking abreak from work right now but will be heading back out in a few minutes. When I get home later let me know which pictures you want and I will see if I can grab them for you.
