Besides the 67 Hood, red line tires,Chevelle Hub Caps, and something wrong with the pass headlight trim rim,,,,,,,what else can you guys spot.......

We did this the first time it was listed, but... here we go again!
Rubber fuel line from pump to carb
No battery hold-down
Replacement alternator
Replacement window cranks (or at least the wrong knobs)
Radio in car but no antenna?
Clutch and brake pedals - either the assembly is incorrect or the wrong pads have been used.
327 emblems mounted too high on front fenders
Exhaust system exits behind rear tires instead of under bumper (Novas with dual exhaust [which was standard with the L79] had a set of hangers behind and out from the side the gas tank to support the weight of the resonators.)

It also has aftermarket 15" wheels, which were probably necessitated by the disc brake swap. It would have looked a LOT better if the 'restorers' had scrounged a set of disc-brake-compatible steelies from an early '70s Chevy.

This thing HAD to have been pieced back together!

Well, actually not... Unless the VIN was switched, this appears to be a "118" [Super Sport] car - which means that there's a 99.9% chance that it didn't have belt-line trim.

This is the 3rd time this car has been on Ebay this Fall. The drivers side headlight bezel seems to be crooked, as the peak doesn't line up with its counterpart on the fender. As Ken mentioned, the passenger side bezel doesn't fit correctly, either. Being a U.S. built car, the firewall would have originally been black. Also, as denoted by the 'E' on the cowl tag, all the interior metal surfaces would have been black, not body color. The lower door sill should also be painted black to tie-in with the black accent lines on the rocker trim. The oil filler appears to be the Corvette shorty type not the longer Chevy II L79 tube and 1966 Chevy IIs didn't have the blue 'GM' stickers on the doors. While all this may seem to be overly picky, this car is being sold as an L79 that reportedly had a $75,000 price tag. His reserve is still probably north of $60,000. A person buying an L79 for that kind of money would expect these things to be correct.

I was trying not to be too picky and didn't list everything (although I didn't notice the oil-fill tube...). You make an excellent point about the price. If you're paying a top-drawer price, you should get a close-to-perfect car!

Trim tag painted gloss black........Looks to have been removed while the firewall was painted Body color......Trunk splatter not the correct color....
