What is the range of temps for aluminum heads?? Low - Med - Hot? Are temps taken from the head 10-15 degrees hotter? Where do you take your temps from? Whew lot of questions sorry.

The running temp will be the same, the heads will just heat up faster.

They will also cool down faster, water temp should be the same with a t-stat. If your not running a t-stat you might find the temp a little warmer, because the heads will transfer heat better.

I like my engine temp taken on the intake.

Water temp or actual head temp?

I would not want to be over 190-200 water temp with a 14lbs cap


Running at 220-230 leaves no room for a bad day is something goes wrong.
