Mine arrived quickly as well. I had a tracking number 2 hours after ordering. Nice looking unit, it will have to wait until after the reunion to get installed.

Hey guys just found out about this pcv valve. I'm looking at possible getting one & was just wondering if there would be any others looking to get one. It would be nice to get it at the lower price if possible. Thanks.

Hi there , nova_72us

1st thing --- I WAS WRONG about my total count :

I think we only had like, 14 people in our buy ------- but, then -
Barbara Wagner also told me (when I called too check) ….. that she had two more people THAT SHE ADDED to that buy -- = about 16-17 people total. (Rusty63 bought 2 PCV valves).

Just trying too be honest -- where I thought - 27 - people ….. I was wrong !

That being said --- "Our Group Buy" just started 'outa th' blue' ……….

so, there may be other people out there …. (use this post , too ask for another ( "Group Buy" ) ……….. you never know .

I will say that "M E Wagner" was a VERY GOOD experience --- you just need 6 people total …… then, call 'M E Wagner ….. and , they handle everything else' .

Good Company -- Great People too deal with and a great product .

If I can help, send me a PM ……… jim

So after Jim ran point on the adjustable PCV valves (thanks, Jim!), I bought one. Haven't installed it yet, but I'm thinking I'll install that with an engine change I'm doing right now. It's a stock 194 I6. I bought it trying to improve the engine for a cleaner crankcase and less blow-by or leakage or oil vapor in the engine compartment. I don't think there will be a noticeable performance change, but it's more oil management.

Wonder if we could hear from those who have installed it yet and if they have noticed any changes, if adjusting it was easy, etc.

"FEED -- BACK" .

Maybe one thing that I did notice installing my ' DF-17 … adjustable PCV valve was , I had too adjust my carb idle 'down' …. (should help with mpg, too). The stock PCV -- that I had been running (installed for about 20 years) ; was working really good, with no issues (and, no mess, either).
I ran both valves with my current set-up (using both my stock 1bbl Rochester carb & my new Holley 390 cfm - 4bbl carb (mounted on my OFFY intake , using the stock GM exhaust manifold) .

Adjusting the DF-17 --- I just read through the included instruction sheet, about 3 times too understand things. Then did a few checks and 'Bingo' ….. simple. I think this PCV valve will Last Forever, a very nice product - made in USA - GREAT Company -- both "People & Product" - and, you can get-it (buy-it) for a discounted price with free shipping.

Thanks too all the SNS members that joined-in ; and, to Philip & the "Team Chevelle -- Guys" that joined us.

I really like mine, jim

Hi Dave,

I’ve sent your PayPal invoice. The group buy will be available until March 31. This will give others a fair amount of time to respond. Thank you for organizing this group buy.

great people, and very pleasant to deal with.

when is the last time you could say that?

-Rusty
I'm looking at my first LS project and I was referred to an Arkansas company, HotwireAuto, for a harness. Those folks are the same way.
Most any company will answer your questions (with various degrees of interest and information) but there are few that will offer you advice and real direction.

After orchestrating the initial SNS group buy of these ME Wagner PCV valves a few years ago, I just bought another one.

This time it will be used with forced induction.

I'll let you know how I make out.

Hi all, does anyone have experience with the M/E Wagner adjustable PCV valve?
I have the typical warmed-up 350 and want to have the most crankcase ventilation/pressure reduction I can get, (I hate leaks).
Presently I'm using the Delco CV789c which is supposed to be the recommended valve for performance Chevies.
Respectfully, please don't tell me not to run a PCV. Been there. I want the benefits of the valve.
The Wagner product is pricey. If you have one I'd like to know your experience.
Thx in advance.
For what it's worth , the Olds 442 W-30 455cid I bought new in 1970 had dual PCV's . Don't no if GM did that 4 other motor's then. All the Divisions had seperate Engineering staff then. I've added an oil trap to the PCV on current 72 nova SB as I've seen on @ local Drags.

I think I'm going to order their new inline PCV valve and run a braided line from the valve cover to an oil separator to the PCV valve. On the opposite valve cover I will have another braided hose leading to an oil separator and air filter. As you can see I haven't drilled the valve covers yet. They will be re-polished and ceramic clear-coated afterwards like the supercharger is.

If that doesn't do the job, which will be evident by excessive oil and blow-by trapped in the vent line oil separator, the next step will be to add a vacuum pump but I'm hoping the PCV will be enough.

I saw Alf the other day on a different matter and this came up in conversation. He indicated that it works great. Alf can provide the details.

That Motor is just flat out "a thing of Great Beauty" . . . .

and, back to post : # 72 ............ when I did install my DF-17 . . . . . & now , I've installed an oil catch - can ,
onto my ol' 250 - 6 with my 'Wagner valve' .
I was looking on "Wagner's web-site" . . . and alot of their customer rides = showing engine pictures . . . .
. . . . have installed 'catch - cans ' . . . . . so, I thought . . . . . why not .
So far so good . . . and not too stupid looking, either (a really cheap unit from Amazon) .
