Hi guys, I bought a windshield for my 69 that has the antenna built in, I read a post stating the short lead from antenna goes to a connector under the cowl. Where would be the correct location to go thru the cowl to get in the cab? I am assuming I just drill a hole then route the radio antenna wire and connect them together?

The 69 is coming along, not going over the top just putting it back to stock for now to get it road worthy.

Nevermind guys, I looked in a catalog and see a lead for it, looks like this was 73-79 item.

70 was the first year for the antenna in the windshield, if that matters.

Just to add, after you drill or punch out the hole, paint the raw metal edge and then if the pigtails mounting flange does not have a sealing gasket on it, either add one out of some closed cell foam or use something like 3M rope caulk.

Where this hole and lead in are at you don't want or need any water leaks getting past it into the interior of the car.
