Hey guys I almost have my 283 done. Now I have been thinking about installing a Vintage Air system in the 63 wagon. I have my Tci fron clip and rebuilt trans I am just waiting for a few parts to complete the motor. Here's my question is there anyone here that gets good prices on Ac kits ? Is it a pain in the *** to install ? And has anyone ever stripped a factory ac box and run there ac tubes trough there instead of using the vents Vintage air provides ? I would just like to keep the stock ac box look. Thank in Advanced and Thanks for all the help.

This is what I plan on doing. Looks easy enough. I plan on making a sheet metal plate to mount to the rear of the stock underdash unit, remove all the guts and attach the ducts except the defrost to the sheet metal panel. Looks like the underdash unit will need to be shortened to fit with the VA unit.
