A little disappointing.

I drove to the cruise night in Markham this past Wed. night. It's 175 miles round trip. Wanted to see some different cars as well as give the wagon a bit of a run. Not sure if they got 40 cars at the cruise or not but I was expecting much more considering the nice weather that evening. There's got to be at least 1 million people within 30 miles of the place. We have maybe 100,000 people within the local cruise night where I live and on a night like that at this time of the year we'll get around 240 cars. I'll have to do some investigating before I venture out to cruise nights that are far from me. There's got to be some that have a decent turnout.

Its always hard to tell. You can read flyers and check online, but you never really know. Ive driven 30 min just to find nothing even there....Ive been to shows that were a totally different crowd. You kinda have to just feel em out sometimes.
last tuesdays cruise in Grimsby Ontario they had to close it off at 175 cars. A lot of people parked just out side of the area then a lot drove in and back out when they found it full.
Uxbridge draws a little over 200 cars on Thursday nights. It's at the arena.

Sharon draws close to 200 on Saturday nights. This week there's a live band, so it will be busy, you have to get there early. It's behind town offices, Leslie Street and Mount Albert side road.

I just might go this Sat. Wife is out of town so this will give me something to do. Uxbridge sounds good but it'll be a couple of weeks before I get there. Luckily the car is running great and the gas mileage is better then when the 6 cyl. was in there.
Holy cow Shane that's terrible. :(

Next time you want to travel to a cruise or a show come on over to this side.

There's always a great turnout at the cruises and shows around here.

The Paddock Chevy cruise today had about 450-500 cars and it was just past Grand Island from you.
Benmar Saturday evening just outside of Paris has close to 200 cars on a nice night. Oldguy Me took our wifes and my kids there a couple weekends back. Great cruise.

Shane, I will be there with my 66 nova wagon. If your coming be there early, they have a food truck that sells good food.

Forty cars is a car show around my area the cruise ins only do about the same:(:(

My dad goes to a cruise in every saturday five miutes from his house in fl with 50 - 100 cars!
I bought some parts from someone down in Raleigh when I was returning home from Florida. The guy had 5 or 6 really nice cars that any one of them could be featured in a magazine. He was organizing a car show for the downtown area and was hoping for a 1000 cars plus vendors, etc...
Yeah I went to that one two years ago and it was really nice. There were cars indoors and outside on the street but can't imagine there being a 1000 cars maybe 500 at best. Definitely a good show and the best we have around Raleigh. It is coming up in August 17th.
Cruz Nites

I live in Bradford and like to venture out a fair distance when daylight is late May-July. Uxbridge is really good, over 200 every time I have gone. If your into a real cruise one Saturday Sharon is generally good with about 1-2 hundred and Barrie Burger King can draw a good number when the weathers nice. There are others but gettin a little far for you. Happy cruzin!

Was his name Nova Dan?

Nope. Don't recall his name but he wasn't into Novas. Mostly 55-57 Chevs and 66-67 Chevelles.
