My name is Lou and I live in central Arkansas.

I usually include the words "older than dirt" as I am 73 and may be the oldest person on Steve's.

I have 21 years military service; 20 years in the Federal Department of Veterans Affairs, and 10 years in the parts department of our local Chevy dealership.

I have owned many Nova's over the years. This includes a 63 SS convertable, 63 post with L4, 65 and 66 wagon, 67 HT (bought at NNN St. Louis), 72 SS, 68 Chevy II, just to mention a few.

I am not physically able to do a lot of the work that I have done in the past.

My current ride is a 1949 Chevy coupe that my son, Bruce, (BLYOTH on Steve's) put togather for me. It is powered by a 330 HP crate with vortec heads, PS, PB, AC, TCI front suspension, chrome Ididit tilt, 200-4R, etc. It is roadworthy, but needs paint and chrome work.

I attend lots of shows and swap meets. I recently made the Super Chevy show in Memphis and the Pate swap meet in TX. I plan on going to Springfield, MO for their NSRA event and of course I will be at the Petit Jean (Arkansas) swap meet in June.

I always have room for one more car!

Lou
