66 Nova w/factory a/c.....barely blows...sounds like it is tearing the world up...but very little air coming out of a/c vents or heater vents..any help??? maybe a door somewhere isn't opening....

i have some what of the same problem but for me it blows full on but it dosent come out of the little vents in the dash at all only the bottom no matter what

sounds like that would be very apparent to find.....obvious mechanical problem

sounds like one of the cables are mis adjusted or off.....

My first thought would be the vents are blocked with debris. Either leaves or from mice.

Thanks guys.....all hints were checked before hand......i'm thinking that a inner door is not opening....all the cables were checked....looks like i will have to remove the unit and tear it down....is this a major job to remove the unit? Tks...

Theres a special A C diverter that is used on the air cars . do you have all the correct parts you know for sure? an assembly manual will help diagram the different components, a shop manual will give you detailed assembly and trouble shooting,These books are a must have, the shop manuals cover the most, the assembly next, the fisher body manual is excellent for other stuff. My 66 shop manual is borrowed out . Get all of these you can

Being hard headed......i figured i would never need one....but looks like my next project is manuals.....thanks for the help..
